On the FED side we find out what Agent Charles Walker thinks is the most important item an office should have.

 After the disastrous results of the Mr Pluckies operation came to light, the agents of BUM and FED were reassigned to Alaska. Agents Walker and Gray meet their new Alaska partners for the first, with different results. Supervising agents Kirsten Steele and Lucy Lloyd have an uncomfortable meet up in an unlikely spot.

This is the story of the agents of BUM (Bureau Undermining Misinformation) and FED (Federal Enforcement Division) and their fight to combat dangerous misinformation and disinformation.

Throughout 2022 I had an idea form that I couldn’t get out of my head. In the years since 2020 one word seemed to have more importance than any other word in the world. That word was misinformation. We heard it everywhere. Organizations like the UN and the WEF declared misinformation and disinformation the top global risk, over things like terrorism, and climate.

To me, that is absolutely ludicrous. Having free speech, especially speech critical of the government is a foundational right of the United States. Increasingly that is not the case around the world, even in supposedly “free” countries. The people of the United States must maintain the right to speak freely. Go ahead and argue over polices, personalities, or whatever, but our government does not get to decide what we say or what is the “truth”.

I have been horrible keeping up here. I'm sorry, It's hard to keep up with everything and try and do a full time job, but we're still plugging away. I'll add some more stuff this weekend.

We'll also look at all the updates in the Karen Read case. Things keep getting interesting there. All building up to the 22nd of July and the hearing.

We'll also take a look at the first few days of the Alec Baldwin trial. We're also going to compare current day, or even last decade or so, Alec Baldwin to 1988 Adam Maitland (Beetlejuice) Alec Baldwin. I'm still not convinced that is the same person. It can't be. I know what IMDB says, I'm still not convinced.

What a big day. So much news comes out all at once. We were anticipating the Proctor hearing, but the two motions this morning. Wow, such big news. When we first heard about the hung jury, I wasn't shocked. I knew it was a possibility, especially considering how cumbersome that jury form for the 2nd charge was. I knew there was a chance that there were some folks on the jury that would think because the State brought charges, someone did something. Did I expect it to be 8-4, no way.

So tomorrow night we're going to do go back and review the FBI hired experts testimony. We're going to take a critical look at it and see where a juror could see some ambiguity and think there was not a reasonable doubt that she committed a crime. Obviously it wasn't as convincing as we thought.

Wednesday is editing night. We filmed our AirBNB skit the other night, and keeping with tradition, we're going to edit it live. Why not, figure that is something unique. Maybe, eventually, if and when we are able to get ...
